How to read the iPhone Screen Time weekly report and pickups to find your scrolling time (2026)
The Screen Time weekly report shows how much time you spent on your devices, your most used apps and how often you picked up your iPhone. On iOS 27, go to Settings › Screen Time › Daily Average and tap Week, then scroll down to Pickups and Notifications. On iOS 26, tap See All App & Website Activity instead. You can also tap the Screen Time Weekly Report notification when it appears. To find your scrolling time, add up the hours next to Instagram, TikTok and YouTube in the Week view and compare them with earlier weeks. The report counts whole apps, so it can't tell you how much of your Instagram time was Reels and how much was DMs.

| Part of the report | What Apple says it shows | What to look for |
|---|---|---|
| Week / Day | A summary of weekly or daily use. Swipe left and right to see your history. | Your social apps in the list, and whether the total is higher than last week. |
| Pickups | How many times you picked up your devices. | A high count with short sessions often means opening apps out of habit. |
| Notifications | How many notifications you received. On iOS 26, which apps send you the most. | Apps that pull you back in with alerts. |
| Share Across Devices | Combines Screen Time data from iPhone, iPad and Mac on the same Apple Account. | If it is on, the numbers include your other devices. |
Where to find the weekly report
On iOS 27:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Screen Time, then Daily Average.
- Tap Week for the weekly summary, or Day for a single day.
- Scroll down to Pickups and Notifications.
On iOS 26, tap Screen Time › See All App & Website Activity, tap Devices to choose a device, then tap Week or Day.
Apple also sends a Screen Time Weekly Report notification. Tap it to open the summary. If you missed it, it stays in Notification Center. Apple's guide doesn't say which day the notification arrives. If you see no data at all, Screen Time is off: tap Screen Time › Manage Screen Time › Turn On App & Website Activity.
How to find your scrolling time in it
- Open the Week view and look at the apps at the top of the list. Note the time next to Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat or whichever feeds you use.
- Add those up. That is the most your scrolling could have been this week. It also includes the time you spent messaging and posting in those apps.
- Swipe sideways to see earlier weeks. One heavy week is normal; the same number every week is your habit.
- Check Pickups. Many pickups and short sessions usually mean opening an app without deciding to.
- Check Notifications. If one app sends most of them, turning off its non-essential alerts removes a reason to pick up the phone.
If Share Across Devices is on, the numbers combine iPhone, iPad and Mac. Look at one device on iOS 26 with Devices, or turn sharing off under Manage Screen Time on iOS 27 if you want separate numbers.
What the report can't tell you
Apple describes the report in terms of apps and websites and how long you used them. It has no breakdown inside an app. An hour on Instagram could be an hour of Reels or an hour of DMs with friends, and the report shows both the same way. Instagram's own time counter has the same limit; see how to see your time on Instagram.
After reading it: set a limit
On iOS 27, Apple uses Time Allowances by category. Go to Settings › Screen Time › Time Allowances, tap a category such as Social Media and drag the slider. Apple says the allowance also covers a website the app declares as its own. To see the average for one app, tap Manage Categories, a category, then the app. A limit stops the whole app, so messages stop too.
What minulo does and doesn't do
minulo is an iPhone app that opens Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and other services through their official websites inside the app, with Reels, Explore, Shorts and For You hidden. DMs keep working, so the time you spend there is closer to time with people. Hiding is free. The official apps themselves don't change.
minulo can also lock an official app with Screen Time, free for up to 2 hours per block. While an official app is locked, its notifications don't arrive, and minulo doesn't send any of its own. minulo Pro adds schedules by day and time, longer blocks, Hard Mode and multiple block lists. There is no Android version.
Where is the Screen Time weekly report on iPhone?
On iOS 27, open Settings, tap Screen Time, tap Daily Average and then Week. On iOS 26, tap Screen Time, then See All App & Website Activity, then Week. You can also tap the Screen Time Weekly Report notification, which stays in Notification Center if you miss it.
What do Pickups mean in Screen Time?
Apple says Pickups shows how many times you picked up your devices. You find it by scrolling down in the Screen Time summary, next to Notifications.
What day does the Screen Time weekly report come?
Apple's iPhone User Guide doesn't give a day. It says the report appears as a notification and that you can find it in Notification Center if it disappears. You can open the weekly summary in Settings at any time.
Can Screen Time show how long I spent on Reels or Shorts?
No. The report shows time per app and website, so Reels, DMs and posting all count as Instagram time. To use Instagram without Reels, open it in an app that hides them, such as minulo, where hiding is free.
Does the weekly report include my iPad and Mac?
Yes, if Share Across Devices is on in Manage Screen Time. Apple says it combines Screen Time data from devices signed in to the same Apple Account. On iOS 26 you can pick one device with Devices.
