Is there a TikTok app for Mac? How to use TikTok on a Mac (2026)
TikTok's App Store listing doesn't include Mac, so on a Mac you use TikTok's website at tiktok.com in Safari or Chrome. TikTok says the website has the For You feed, Explore and LIVE, and its daily screen time limit works there too. minulo is an iPhone and Mac app. On iPhone it opens TikTok with For You hidden while your messages keep working, and hiding For You is free.
On a Mac: download the Mac app (.dmg)
TikTok isn't listed for Mac on the App Store. When we checked TikTok's US App Store page on 2026-11-04, Compatibility named iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple Vision. That leaves the website, which TikTok itself calls the TikTok.com web app.

How to use TikTok on a Mac
- Open Safari or Chrome on your Mac and go to www.tiktok.com.
- Log in with the same account you use in the TikTok app on your phone.
- To limit your time, click your profile picture, then Settings, Screen time and Daily screen time. TikTok says this limit applies to both the app and the web.
Steps with minulo on iPhone
- Install minulo from the App Store.
- Open TikTok inside minulo and log in on TikTok's own login page. minulo does not receive or store your password.
- Tap the gear next to TikTok and turn on Recommendations to hide For You, or Every tab but DMs to keep only your messages.
- Optional: in the Block tab, lock the official TikTok app with Screen Time. The block screen has an Open in minulo button.
Hiding For You is free.
Honest limits
- The website still has For You. Using TikTok on a computer doesn't keep you away from short videos by itself. TikTok's 2025 update refreshed the For You feed on the web.
- minulo on Mac. minulo runs on iPhone and Mac (the Mac app works in Safari and Chrome), not Android. This page doesn't cover which TikTok parts the Mac app handles.
- Notifications. While the official TikTok app is locked on your iPhone, its notifications don't arrive.
Is there a TikTok app for Mac?
