How to hide suggested posts on Facebook on iPhone (2026)
minulo hides suggested posts on Facebook for free on iPhone: open Facebook inside minulo and turn on Hide suggested posts. Notifications, messages and friends keep working.
In Facebook's own help we found no setting that turns suggested posts off. What it offers is feedback one post at a time (Not Interested, Snooze, Unfollow) and the Feeds tab, which shows recent posts from people, Pages and groups you follow. minulo's switch works only inside minulo, so the official Facebook app doesn't change.
- Install minulo, tap Add a service and choose Facebook.
- Tap the gear next to Facebook and turn on Hide suggested posts. Reels, Watch, the Home feed and Marketplace can be hidden the same way.
- Open Notifications, Messages, Friends and Feed from the minulo home screen.
- In the Block tab, choose the official Facebook app, free for up to 2 hours per block.

Why posts from people you don’t follow show up
Facebook's help says your Feed includes posts about your friends' activity on Facebook, for example a friend commenting in a public group you are not in. Its suggestions for that are to unfollow, hide posts you don't want to see and update your Feed preferences. We found no setting there that removes suggested posts as a whole.
What Facebook lets you do
On a post: tap the Options icon at the top right of the post. Not Interested tells Facebook you want less content like it (Facebook says it replaces the old Hide post option). Snooze [name] for 30 days hides posts from that person, Page or group for 30 days, and Unfollow [name] hides all of their posts while you stay friends or keep following.
Feeds tab: Facebook says the Feeds tab shows the most recent posts from the people, Favorites, Pages and groups you follow, newest first. It is a separate view, and the help doesn't describe it as changing the main Feed.
Content preferences: under Settings & privacy, Content preferences lets you manage Favorites, unfollow or reconnect, change snoozes and adjust sensitive content. None of these switches off suggestions.
Hide suggested posts with minulo
minulo opens Facebook's own website inside the app and hides the items you turn on. Hide suggested posts is one of them, next to Hide Reels, Watch and Marketplace, the Home feed and the "Open app" banner. Notifications, Messages, Friends and Feed open straight from the minulo home screen. Hiding is free with no time limit, and you can change what is hidden at any time.
In the Block tab you can also lock the official Facebook app with Screen Time. Its icon then shows a blocked screen with an Open in minulo button. Blocking is free for up to 2 hours per block, and schedules and Hard Mode are in minulo Pro.
Limits, so you can decide honestly: hidden parts are hidden only inside minulo, and the official apps don't change. While minulo blocks an official app, that app's notifications don't arrive, and minulo sends none of its own. minulo is for iPhone, with a Mac version that works in Safari and Chrome, and there is no Android version yet. Can you turn off suggested posts on Facebook?
We found no setting for it in Facebook's help as of November 2026. You can mark a post Not Interested, snooze or unfollow its source, or read the Feeds tab. In minulo, Hide suggested posts removes them for free on iPhone.
Does Not Interested stop all suggested posts?
No. Facebook describes it as telling it you'd like to see less content like that post. It works one post at a time.
What is the difference between Snooze and Unfollow?
Snooze hides posts from a person, Page or group for 30 days. Unfollow hides all their posts until you follow again. In both cases you stay friends or keep following.
Does the Feeds tab show only people I follow?
Facebook describes it as the most recent posts from the people, Favorites, Pages and groups you follow.
Will friends still see my posts if I hide suggested posts in minulo?
Yes. minulo only changes what you see inside minulo. Your account and your posts stay the same.
Does minulo change the official Facebook app?
No. Suggested posts are hidden only when you open Facebook inside minulo. To stay out of the official app, lock it in the Block tab, free for up to 2 hours per block.
