What SocialLite's App Store page says about Reddit

In SocialLite's US version history, the notes for 3.1.0, released on July 27, 2026, start with "New platform: Reddit", followed by multiple accounts and posting features. Later notes don't mention Reddit again: the push notifications added in 3.1.2 are listed for Instagram and Snapchat.

The App Store description names Instagram and YouTube and says "other platforms". Under what gets blocked, it lists short-form video feeds, algorithmic recommendations and suggested content, Explore and discovery pages, live streams and shopping tabs, and ads. Under what you keep, it lists direct messages, profiles you visit, content friends send you and posting. It doesn't say which of these apply to Reddit, so we couldn't confirm whether SocialLite hides Reddit's Popular feed, r/all or recommended posts in Home.

Turn off recommendations in Reddit itself

1. In the Reddit app, tap your avatar, then the menu (three lines), then Settings.
2. Tap your username under Account Settings.
3. Scroll down to Privacy and turn off Show recommendations in home feed.

On reddit.com the same toggle is in your preferences. Reddit says these recommendations show up when Home is sorted by Best, and the toggle covers Home only: the Popular feed and trending notifications are separate. To keep a community out of Home, Popular and notifications, mute it from the overflow menu on its page (up to 1,000). Hide Popular and suggested posts with minulo

minulo is an iPhone app that opens Reddit's website inside the app. Hiding is free.

1. Install minulo. On the home screen, tap Add a service and choose Reddit.
2. Tap the gear next to Reddit and turn on Popular and suggested posts. Links to r/popular and r/all and recommended posts are hidden. Only communities you've joined also hides News and Explore.
3. Subscribed and Messages open straight from the minulo home screen.
4. Optional: in the Block tab, lock the official Reddit app with Screen Time, free for up to 2 hours per block. Its block screen has an Open in minulo button.

Limits, so you can decide honestly: Popular is hidden only inside minulo, and the official Reddit app doesn't change. It has a 7-day free trial, then a subscription ($0.99 a month or $3.99 a year on 2026-10-26), and needs iOS 17. It works only in Safari.
