What Snapchat for Web is made for

Snapchat's help article on getting Snapchat for Web tells you to go to web.snapchat.com on a computer. Snap announced it in July 2022 as a way to keep chatting from your laptop, first for Snapchat+ subscribers in a few countries. Snapchat's current help article on getting it doesn't mention a subscription.

Account: keep the Snapchat app on your phone up to date and log in with the same account.
One computer at a time: logging in on another computer logs you out of the first one.
App-only features: Snapchat lists viewing photo and video Snaps in Memories, managing your Stories and their analytics, changing your username and updating your privacy settings as things you still do in the mobile app.

Spotlight is not left out of the website. Snapchat says you can view Spotlight on Snapchat for Web at web.snapchat.com, so the website alone doesn't get you away from short videos.

Open Snapchat's website on iPhone with minulo

minulo opens Snapchat's website inside the app. Turn on hiding for Spotlight and Discover in its Snapchat settings and it stays on until you turn it off. Chat opens straight from the minulo home screen. On iPhone, minulo uses the camera and microphone only when you take a photo or video in Snapchat inside minulo.

Install minulo from the App Store.
On the home screen, tap Add a service and choose Snapchat.
Tap the gear next to Snapchat and turn on hiding for Spotlight and Discover.

If you keep opening the official Snapchat app out of habit, minulo can lock it with Screen Time and send you to minulo when you tap its icon. That is free for up to 2 hours per block. While the official app is locked, its notifications don't arrive, so lock it only when you can miss them, for example while studying or at night. minulo Pro ($9.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US) adds Sleep mode (set bed and wake times), blocks longer than 2 hours, Hard Mode and a Daily limit.

Honest limits

Inside minulo you use Snapchat's website, not the Snapchat app. Snapchat says some features, such as Memories, managing your Stories, changing your username and privacy settings, are still only in the mobile app. Keep the official app installed for those.
