minulo vs Still: which app to hide Reels and Shorts on iPhone (2026)

Pick minulo if you want Reels, Shorts and For You gone on 10 networks, including TikTok, X, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn and Snapchat: hiding is free, with no subscription and no time limit, and your DMs keep working. Still fits better if you mostly use YouTube, Instagram and Facebook in a browser and want the same free extension in Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac and in Chrome or Firefox on your computer.

Still: Reels & Shorts Blocker is an app by Zachary Chartash, first released on the US App Store on 2026-07-21. It is a browser extension: in Safari on iPhone and iPad, and in Safari, Chrome and Firefox on a computer, it removes YouTube Shorts (a Shorts link opens as a normal video), Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels, and blocks the TikTok website. Its App Store page says it can't change the YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok apps. minulo instead shows each network's website inside its own app and hides the parts you choose. Still is not the same app as Stillfeed.

This page is written by the developer of minulo, so keep that in mind. Still facts come from its US App Store page (version 2.1.0, released 2026-09-26), checked 2026-11-05. Features and prices can change.

Pick Still if

  • you mostly use YouTube, Instagram and Facebook in a browser rather than in their apps;
  • you want the same settings to follow you to Safari on iPhone, iPad and Mac and to Chrome or Firefox on your computer;
  • you want TikTok's website blocked completely;
  • you want only the blocking, with no timers, streaks or screen-time stats;
  • you want it all free, with no in-app purchases.

Pick minulo if

  • you use TikTok, X, Threads, Pinterest, Reddit, LinkedIn or Snapchat and want their feeds hidden, not the whole site blocked;
  • you want to keep your DMs, including a DMs-only setting for Instagram and TikTok;
  • you want the official apps locked with Screen Time so you don't drift back to them;
  • you want the app in Japanese, Korean or another of its 13 languages;
  • you want Sleep mode, Work mode or a Daily limit (Pro).

Still works in the browser you already use, signed in as you, so there's no separate app to log in to. minulo shows each network's website inside minulo, so screens look a little different from the official apps.

Is Still free?

Yes. The US App Store lists Still as free with no in-app purchases, and its description says blocking needs no account and no purchase; signing in with your email is optional and only adds sync between devices. In minulo, hiding Reels, Shorts and suggested posts is free, with no subscription and no time limit, and your DMs keep working. Sleep mode, Work mode, Hard Mode, a Daily limit and blocks longer than 2 hours are part of Pro, which is $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US.

Does Still work inside the Instagram and YouTube apps?

No. Its App Store page says Still works on websites and can't change the YouTube, Instagram, Facebook or TikTok apps, so many people delete those apps and use the websites with Still instead. minulo doesn't change the official apps either: it shows Instagram and YouTube's websites inside minulo with Reels and Shorts hidden, and can lock the official apps with Screen Time.

Is Still the same app as Stillfeed?

No. Still: Reels & Shorts Blocker is made by Zachary Chartash and works as a browser extension. Stillfeed: Block Reels & Shorts is a different app by Gokhan Tosun. There is a separate comparison of minulo and Stillfeed.
