How to use LinkedIn without the feed: just jobs and messages (iPhone, 2026)

minulo hides the LinkedIn news feed on iPhone for free: open LinkedIn inside minulo, turn on News feed, and Messages, Notifications and Jobs are still one tap away.

LinkedIn Help lists ways to tune your feed, such as unfollowing, muting and choosing "I don't want to see this", but it doesn't describe a way to turn the feed off. minulo's switch works only inside minulo, so the official LinkedIn app still shows the feed.

Download on the App Store

  2. Tap the gear next to LinkedIn and turn on News feed. Video and suggested posts can be hidden the same way.
  3. Open Messages, Notifications or Jobs from the minulo home screen.
  4. In the Block tab, choose the official LinkedIn app, free for up to 2 hours per block.

What LinkedIn's own settings do

LinkedIn Help's page on customizing your feed lists these options: unfollow or mute people and companies whose posts you don't want to see, choose I don't want to see this on a post, report inappropriate posts, follow new people and companies, and, on desktop only, choose whether top or recent updates come first.

All of these change what is in the feed. None of them removes it. When you open LinkedIn to answer a recruiter or check a job alert, the feed is still the first thing you see.

Hide the feed with minulo

minulo opens LinkedIn's own website inside the app and hides the items you turn on. News feed is one of them, next to Video and suggested posts. Messages, Notifications and Jobs open straight from the minulo home screen, and everything you haven't hidden works like the LinkedIn website. Hiding is free with no time limit, and you can turn the feed back on any time.

Only your screen changes. Your profile, your connections and who sees your posts stay the same.

If you also want to stay out of the app

In minulo's Block tab, allow Screen Time and choose the official LinkedIn app. Its icon then shows a blocked screen with Open in minulo. Blocking is free for up to 2 hours per block. Keep in mind that the official app's notifications don't arrive while it is blocked, so if you are waiting on a recruiter, check Messages in minulo.

Limits, so you can decide honestly: hidden parts are hidden only inside minulo, and the official apps don't change. While minulo blocks an official app, that app's notifications don't arrive, and minulo sends none of its own. Posting Stories, voice messages and calls aren't available. minulo is for iPhone, with a Mac version that works in Safari and Chrome, and there is no Android version yet. It is new, with few ratings.
