Is minulo free? What's free and what Pro adds (2026)
Yes: hiding Reels, Shorts and suggested posts on all 10 networks in minulo is free, with nothing to buy and no trial to start. Pro adds Sleep mode, Hard Mode, a Daily limit and blocks longer than 2 hours for $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year on the US App Store, and your first 7 days include all of Pro for free.
The free part is not a demo. It covers Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, Threads, Facebook, Reddit, Snapchat, Pinterest and LinkedIn, and your DMs, friends' posts and your own posts keep working. You sign in to each network on its own login page, and minulo never stores your password.
Written by Ayumu Kitabayashi, the developer of minulo. Features and prices come from minulo's App Store description (version 1.0.16, checked 2026-11-04) and the minulo FAQ. Prices can change, and the App Store shows them in your local currency.

How the 7-day trial works
The App Store description says it plainly: "Try all of Pro free for your first 7 days." During those days you can try Sleep mode, Hard Mode, the Daily limit and blocks that last until you turn them off.
When the 7 days are over, those four features need Pro. Everything in the Free column keeps working with no time limit, so Reels and Shorts stay hidden whether you pay or not. If you buy Pro, Apple's payment sheet shows the price and the renewal terms before you confirm.
How to cancel minulo Pro
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap minulo.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. If there is no Cancel button, the subscription is already canceled and won't renew.
A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Deleting the app does not cancel it. After you cancel, Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, and hiding Reels and Shorts keeps working for free.
Is minulo free?
Yes. Hiding Reels, Shorts and suggested posts on 10 networks, choosing what to hide, reading DMs and posts, breaks, usage tracking and blocking the official apps for up to 2 hours at a time are all free. Nothing needs a purchase or a trial.
How much is minulo Pro?
On the US App Store, minulo Pro is $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year. In other countries the App Store shows the price in your local currency.
Is there a lifetime option?
Yes. Besides the monthly and yearly plans, a one-time lifetime purchase is available, according to the minulo FAQ. The App Store shows its price in your currency.
Do I need Pro to block the official Instagram app?
No. Blocking the official apps with Screen Time is free for up to 2 hours at a time, and you can start a new block whenever one ends. With Pro, a block stays on until you turn it off.
What happens when the 7 free days end?
Sleep mode, Hard Mode, the Daily limit and blocks longer than 2 hours stop unless you buy Pro. Hiding Reels, Shorts and suggested posts keeps working for free.
Honest limits
minulo can't change the official apps. Reels and Shorts are hidden only when you open the networks inside minulo. While minulo blocks an official app, that app's notifications don't arrive, and minulo sends none of its own. Posting Stories, voice messages and calls aren't available, because the web versions of these networks don't have them. minulo runs on iPhone and Mac, not Android, and it is new, with few ratings.
