minulo

Is there a Reels blocker without a subscription? (iPhone, 2026)

Yes: minulo hides Reels, Shorts and suggested posts for free with no subscription, and Nope is completely free, with no subscriptions or in-app purchases, but it only works in Safari. Some apps sell a one-time option: Awhile's Premium is €9.99 once, UNDOOMED lists a $29.99 lifetime Pro, and Reelmute offers Premium as a lifetime purchase. SocialFocus is a $4.99 paid app with an optional subscription. In minulo you don't need to buy anything to hide Reels, Shorts and suggested posts; only extras such as schedules and Hard Mode are in Pro, which you can also buy once as a lifetime purchase.

What the subscription usually pays for

In most of these apps, hiding Reels itself is free. The money goes on the parts that keep you from undoing it: schedules, strict lock modes, DMs-only views, hiding Stories and multiple accounts. So before paying, ask whether you need enforcement or just a feed without Reels. If it is the second, a free option is usually enough.

Using minulo without paying

In minulo, hiding Reels, Shorts and suggested posts is free with no time limit, on all 10 networks, and so is Every tab but DMs for Instagram and TikTok. Locking the official apps with Screen Time is free for up to 2 hours per block, and you can start another block as soon as one ends. Pro ($9.99 a month or $39.99 a year in the US, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan, or a one-time lifetime purchase) adds schedules, longer blocks, Hard Mode, blocking a network completely and multiple block lists.

Limits, so you can decide honestly: minulo can't change the official apps, so Reels and Shorts are hidden only inside minulo. While minulo blocks an official app, that app's notifications don't arrive, and minulo sends none of its own. Posting Stories, voice messages and calls aren't available, because the web versions of these networks don't have them. minulo runs on iPhone and Mac (plus Chrome and Safari extensions), not Android, and it is new, with few ratings. Is there a Reels blocker with a one-time purchase?

Yes. Awhile's Premium is €9.99 once, UNDOOMED lists a $29.99 lifetime Pro, Reelmute offers Premium as a lifetime purchase, and minulo Pro is also sold as a one-time lifetime purchase. SocialFocus is a $4.99 paid app, with an optional subscription on top.

Is there a completely free Reels blocker?

Nope is completely free with no in-app purchases, but it works only in Safari on instagram.com and youtube.com. minulo, Stillfeed and Reelmute hide Reels for free in their own app and charge only for extras.

Do I need minulo Pro to hide Reels?

No. Hiding Reels, Shorts and suggested posts is free with no time limit. Pro is for schedules, blocks longer than 2 hours, Hard Mode and multiple block lists.

How much is minulo Pro?

In the US it is $9.99 a month or $39.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial on the yearly plan. A one-time lifetime purchase is also available; the App Store shows its price in your local currency.

Do I have to pay to keep DMs?

Not in minulo, Nope, Stillfeed, Reelmute or Awhile: they all say DMs keep working while Reels are hidden, for free. A messages-only view is paid in some apps, but free in minulo.
