“Does it work on Android?” Join the minulo Android waitlist
You told a friend, “There's an app that hides only Instagram Reels,” and they asked, “Does it work on Android?” This page is the waitlist for the Android version of minulo.
This page is written by the developer of minulo. Feature names in YouTube, Instagram and Android can change with app updates and between phone makers.
Sound familiar?
- You recommended minulo to a friend with an Android phone and they said, “Wait, it's iPhone only?”
- Your own phone is Android. You want to keep your DMs but get rid of Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- You are switching from iPhone to Android, and minulo would not come with you.
Where things stand
minulo is iPhone only for now. The Android version is in testing. We cannot promise a release date yet.

Sign up and we will send you one email when the Android version is available on Google Play. No other emails.
What happens to your email address
Your email address is kept in Google Forms (a Google service). It is used only for that one email about the Android version. We do not send anything else and do not share it with anyone. It is not linked to app or website analytics. To have it deleted, email workflowai.japan@gmail.com.
What you can do on Android until then
Until the Android version is out, the apps' own settings and Android itself can help a little.
- YouTube: in the app, go to You → Settings → Time management → Shorts feed limit and choose 0 minutes. For adult accounts the limit can be dismissed, and Shorts in Subscriptions and in links people send you remain.
- Instagram: tap the Instagram logo and choose Following to see only posts from accounts you follow, newest first, without suggestions. The Reels tab stays.
- Android: App timers in Digital Wellbeing set a daily limit for each app. But they stop the whole app, so your DMs stop too. Where the menu is depends on the phone.
None of these removes just the entrance to Reels or Shorts. On iPhone, minulo hides only Reels, Shorts and TikTok For You and keeps your DMs.
On iPhone?
You can get minulo from the App Store today. Hiding Reels, Shorts and TikTok For You is free.
