What did you study?
All 1,405 App Store reviews of SocialLite (Block Reels&Shorts), from February 1 to September 18, 2026, across 60 countries. We read all 484 one-to-three-star reviews in full and sorted them into 20 categories. To tell common complaints apart from the ones that drive low ratings, we also compared how often each complaint appeared in high ratings. The developer had replied to none of the 1,405 reviews.
What is the most common complaint?
Slowness, heaviness and crashes: 150 of the 484 low ratings, about 30%. It is a shared weakness of apps that open the web version of social media inside their own view.
Which complaints are most tied to low ratings?
Some complaints are rare but almost always come with a low rating: no switching between multiple accounts (22.9 times more frequent than in high ratings), Screen Time restrictions reaching unrelated websites (19.1×), login failures (9.5×), price and subscriptions (8.8×), and suspended or flagged accounts (8.6×).
What did people say about the free version?
The most frequent point was that hiding suggested posts required payment, so the free version still let people scroll. In five-star reviews, on the other hand, people often praised being able to use the main features for free. What is free clearly splits the ratings.
Which features do people ask for?
266 reviews included a request. The most common were posting, Stories and calls (110), followed by notifications (61). None of these work on the web version of social media, so they are a shared limit of this kind of app.
What should I check when choosing an app?
Five checks avoid most of the reasons behind low ratings: whether suggested posts are hidden for free; whether you sign in on each service's official page; whether Screen Time limits stay on the services you chose; whether you can switch accounts if you use several; and whether you can open the official app when you need Stories or calls.
How did minulo use these findings?
minulo hides suggested posts for free. You sign in on each service's official page, and minulo never holds your password. On the other hand, posting Stories, calls and voice messages do not work inside minulo either. When you need them, you can open the official app for a set number of minutes.
